Toll way I-294 Route

From the North, take I-294 South, exiting at Dixie Highway. The Dixie Highway exit is 1/4 mile past the 163rd St. Toll Plaza (Plaza #5). At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right (South) on Dixie Highway. The 6th traffic light is Flossmoor Road. Turn left into the Club entrance.

Note: Just past the first traffic light (175th St.). Dixie Highway jogs left (under the Amtrak railroad tracks), and then jogs right. From the Dixie exit, you are 10 minutes from the club.

From the Edens

Take the Edens South onto the Kennedy. Kennedy South past the Loop, onto the Dan Ryan, Dan Ryan South to I-57 South. Follow I-57 South to 167th Street. East on 167th to Kedzie Ave. Right (South) on Kedzie to Flossmoor Road. Left (East) on Flossmoor Road, continue East until Flossmoor dead ends into the Club driveway.

From Lake Shore Drive

Drive South on the outer-drive. Move to the right lane at Soldier Field and exit onto the I-55/I-57 extension ramp. Stay in the right lane and exit onto the ramp marked to Indiana. This puts you onto the Dan Ryan Expressway.

Time and Mileage

Travel time takes about an hour, give or take 10 minutes, from Highland Park. We're about 35 minutes from downtown.

Idlewild is 25 miles South of the Loop and 50 miles from Highland Park.
